The new Bentley Continental GT Speed has made its global public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The car (in its coupe and convertible versions) is being showcased to the public both on the hill climb, and in a unique 'underwater' display. With a new plug-in hybrid drivetrain that produces a total of 771bhp alongside 1,000Nm of peak torque, the new Continental is the most powerful road-going Bentley ever created.
The car also now comes equipped with new two-chamber air paired with new dual-valve dampers, a 48V active anti-roll system, and an electronic limited-slip differential, all of which allow it to deliver incredible body control and the best ride comfort from the model to date.
Two examples of the new Continental GT Speed that will be on the hill climb at Goodwood, while a third car is on display in a unique way near the Kinrara Enclosure to celebrate Bentley's unofficial 'Underwater Speed Record'.
The 'FOShtank' is a bespoke version of the glass 'Toy Box' display units that Bentley utilises across its Dream Factory campus in Crewe, England, but modified to include a custom-built fish tank in a tongue-in-cheek take on the underwater theme.
