The e:HEV hybrid powertrain combines an electric hybrid system to a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine to produce a total power of 130bhp and 253NM of torque, all while managing an impressive fuel economy of 20km/L.

Rear air-con vents are also specific to the HE7 trim

The Freed e:HEV is available in two variants - the higher-specification HE7 gets head lights with Adaptive Driving Beam and LED Active Cornering Light, and also features rear air-conditioning vents. However, both the HE7 and HS7 trims get a host of upgrades from the outgoing model - the new Freed e:HEV is now equipped with disc brakes all around, six airbags, Honda Sensing, and power sliding doors on both sides of the car.
