Race Promoter Singapore GP has unveiled the entertainment lineup for the 2024 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix. A total of 100 hours of entertainment across 12 stages are said to be offered, and additional tickets have also been released, with single-day walkabout tickets now available.
Kicking things off will be OneRepublic on 20 September at the Zone 4 Padang Stage. The American band has just launched its sixth studio album Artificial Paradise, which features an instrumental track titled 'Singapore'. OneRepublic has sold more than 16 million records worldwide, chalked up over 15 billion streams, and racked up six top ten entries on the U.K. charts as well as four top-ten singles in the U.S.A.
Kylie Minogue will also be performing come 21 September at the Zone 4 Padang Stage this year, following her release of U.K. Number One album Tension in 2023, and the global smash hit 'Padam Padam' this year.
Also set to perform in Singapore is Lenny Kravitz, who will play on 22 September at the Zone 4 Padang Stage. Kravitz, the master of deep-soul rock and roll, has already won four Grammy Awards and sold 40 million records worldwide.
Meanwhile, fans of electronic music can look forward to Guy Lawrence from British electronic music act Disclosure come 21 September at the Zone 4 Padang Stage. Earlier this year, Disclosure received their eighth career Grammy-nomination for their single 'Higher Than Ever Before'. Disclosure has also achieved almost six billion streams since their debut.
The Corrs are also set to play here on 21 September at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage, making their first performance in Singapore in 23 years.
And bringing a touch of retro is Kool & the Gang, who will be performing here on 21 September at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage as they mark their 50th anniversary this year. The group has earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 31 gold and platinum albums, as well as nine Top Ten Pop hits.
Australian Singer, Lyricist, and Record Producer Tones And I is also set to play on 21 September at the Zone 4 Downtown Stage, and on 22 September at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage. Her success has seen her win multiple ARIA awards, including the Song Of The Year award for 'Cloudy Day' in 2022.
K-pop fans, meanwhile, can look forward to seeing rookie girl group BabyMonster on 21 September at the Zone 4 Padang Stage. The group made their official debut last April thanks to the hit single and title track 'SHEESH', and their single 'Batter Up' has become the most viewed debut music video in the first 24 hours in K-pop history, with over 22 million views upon its release.
Also performing during the race weekend is HONNE. The British electronic DJ duo will be performing come 20 September at the Zone 4 Padang Stage, after having released their second album Love Me/Love Me Not in 2018, which has gone multi-platinum in multiple territories.
Attendees to the race can also catch international artists including James Murphy, Kelis, Dean Lewis, The Jungle Giants, Sea Girls, Austin Millz, H3F, Hindley Street Country Club, MOS, The Diamonds, Rangga Jones, and Singapore's very own STNY alongside The Astronauts.
