Mercedes-Benz Singapore gets new President and CEO

Mercedes-Benz Singapore has announced that it has appointed Marcel Luis Mustelier Perez as its new President and CEO.

Effective since 1 September 2024, Marcel succeeds Claudius Steinhoff, whose leadership and significant contributions, Mercedes-Benz Singapore states, have been instrumental in driving its growth and securing its position as a leader in Singapore's automotive sector.

Marcel is said to boast over 13 years of experience in the luxury automotive industry, and brings to Mercedes-Benz Singapore and extensive knowledge and expertise. Prior to this appointment, he has held key positions within the Mercedes-Benz organisation across multiple countries and has played a pivotal role in expanding the Passenger Cars business as National Sales Manager.

Marcel is set to spearhead the Sales and Marketing operations for Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans in Singapore, and lead the Centre of Competence for the steering of general distributor markets in South East Asia.
