Polestar plans for expansion in the U.K.

Polestar U.K. has reported that it is seeing rapid growth as it adopts a non-genuine agency sales model and continues to expand its retail footprint in the country following the launch of the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.

The U.K. is one of the first European markets where Polestar is adopting this sales model, in line with Polestar's strengthened business plan to reach profitable growth next year. Customers in the country are currently able to shop for their Polestar from one of the nine Spaces across the U.K. The firm however, is planning a bold expansion programme from its nine existing Spaces to 17 in the next 18 months to support its product roll-out over the coming years.

The firm states that it has already placed 30,000 examples of the Polestar 2 on the U.K.'s roads since it started operations in 2020.
