If you haven't heard already, there's a new brand in town, and they've launched a new model: The Skyworth K. For those who have no idea what’s going on, there's no need to fear, you haven't been deneuralysed by Agent K yet.
First things first: The Skyworth K is a new, all-electric SUV, and claims to offer unparalleled comfort and versatility for your daily chores, thanks to its 467-litre boot.
A total length of 4,720mm and its panoramic sunroof, meanwhile, ensure that passengers are equally taken cared for when it comes to space. And these passengers will rest their bums and backs upon leather seats, all while listening in to the car's eight-speaker sound system. And those in front will be able to fiddle with the car's 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is paired with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster.
Take on the open road, and you'll come to appreciate the Skyworth K's total output of 201bhp alongside its peak torque of 320Nm, all courtesy of an 86kWh battery that allows it to post a WLTP range of 489km. Charging this battery, in turn, can be done at up to 100kW, which should see a 20% to 70% top up done in 45 minutes.
The SUV also comes with a suite of Advanced Driving Assistance Systems including Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto-Park Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Lane Departure Warning.
Local distributor of the Skyworth brand, Alpine Automobile, says that pre-orders for the Skyworth K will start on 24 October, and you can register your interest in the new electric SUV via this website here. Do it quick, before you forget.
