Sick and tired of looking at the bevy of bespoke models from every other luxury manufacturer? Here's something a little different.
This latest one-off commission, the Superb Sleeper Edition, comes from Skoda U.K. and has been built to reflect the model's status as the ultimate all-round everyday car.
Designed and built in the U.K. by RE Performance, the Superb Sleeper Edition comes equipped with Volkswagen's 276bhp 2.0-litre engine, but a host of modifications raises the special edition car's output to a new total of 470bhp, while its total torque output stands at 661Nm. These upgrades not only include an upgraded turbocharger and fuel system, but also an upgraded intake and intercooler.
The car has also had its ride height dropped by 50mm, while it has also received a coil-over suspension system and a performance brake kit to ensure that it stops and handles as well as it accelerates.
To stay true to the Superb's 'sleeper car' identity, this special example has stayed completely unmodified on the outside. This exterior is finished in Royal Green, a colour introduced to the U.K. range in 2023 to mark the coronation of King Charles III. The car’s cabin, meanwhile, sports Cognac tan perforated leather with contrast stitching.
The Skoda Superb Sleeper Edition also comes with features including full Matrix LED head lights, a Lane Keep Assist system, an electrically operated boot, and a rear-view parking camera, as well as tri-zone climate control, a heated windscreen and leather multifunction steering wheel, on top of the firm's Canton sound system.
