Following the introduction of its premium electric MPV, the MIFA 9, Maxus has just introduced its second model in Singapore - the MIFA 7.
The MIFA 7 is a mid-sized electric MPV designed to set a new standard in the segment by offering generous space, exceptional comfort, safety and performance.
And it does so with plenty of style: The MIFA 7 has a minimalist front-end featuring a Cosmic Star Helmet design, along with T-shaped vertical split head lights that are accentuated by daytime running lights that double as turn signals. With its general silhouette reminiscent of the MIFA 9, albeit smaller, the MIFA 7 is immediately recognisable as a Maxus product.
Indeed, one of the key advantages of the Maxus MIFA 7 is its ideal size for the roads in Singapore. Measuring 4,910mm in length, 1,885mm in width, and 1,756mm in height, the MIFA 7 manages to offer an expansive environment for passengers to commute in comfort, all while allowing easy navigation through tight city streets.
Powered by a 90kWh 'One Pack' traction battery, which was jointly developed by SAIC and CATL, the MIFA 7 is able to achieve a best-in-class range of 480km on a single charge. The impressive range is also possible due to the MIFA 7's optimised aerodynamics.
The electric motor in the MIFA 7 delivers a 241bhp and 350Nm of torque to the front wheels for a dynamic and responsive driving experience - this mid-size MPV accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 9.0 seconds, and is capable of a top speed of 180km/h.
With DC fast charging support at a rate of 120kW, the MIFA 7's battery can be charged from 5% to 80% in just 40 minutes.
The MIFA 7 is available in two variants, both featuring a high level of equipment. The Luxury variant includes leather seats in brown, along with an electrically adjustable driver seat. Dual 12.3-inch displays serve as the instrument cluster and the infotainment system, which features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Quality audio is promised with the eight-speaker sound system from JBL.
Opt for the Premium variant and you'll get further refinement and sophistication - the seats are finished in luxurious white Nappa leather, meanwhile the front passenger seats are also electrically adjustable and ventilated.
With its spacious interior, comprehensive features and powerful performance, the MIFA 7 is poised to be a popular choice for families looking for a mid-sized MPV that ticks all the boxes. The Maxus Mifa 7 Luxury is priced at $223,999, while the Premium version is priced at $228,999 (both prices are COE inclusive).
