UNO is coming to a BMW near you

Mattel, AirConsole, and the BMW Group have announced that Mattel's classic card game UNO will be making its way into the AirConsole platform found in BMW and MINI vehicles.
The UNO Car Party game will make its premiere in Germany at gamescom 2024. Attendees to the gaming event will get to experience the new card game, now tailored for in-car gaming, in the new BMW X3. BMW additionally states that over 500,000 vehicles are set to get the game via an over-the-air update come 21 August 2024.
A total of four players can experience the game at the same time, however, the vehicle must be parked to enable gameplay.
The BMW Group and AirConsole have partnered since 2022 to bring and expand the games available through the Airconsole platform. This selection of games now includes popular titles including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Overcooked. AirConsole is available in current models with the BMW or MINI Operating System 9 in combination with BMW Digital Premium or MINI Connected Package and with BMW Operating System 8.5 in combination with BMW ConnectedDrive Professional.
