Ineos Automotive has kicked off its new bespoke Arcane Works division by unveiling the Ineos Grenadier Detour at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Grenadier Detour will be limited to just 200 hand finished examples, all of which will get bespoke design elements and reflect the personal style of their owners alongside a customised specification.
Ineos states that the customers of the Detour will be able to select from an extensive range of options for both the exterior and interior of their vehicle, all while continuing to benefit from the Grenadier's refined dynamics and off-road capability. The car will continue to be powered by either a diesel or petrol 3.0-litre engine sourced from BMW, although petrol-powered models will get a tailored exhaust system.
Also specially set aside for Detour models are touches including 18-inch forged alloy wheels, a redesigned front grille, and four paint finishes: Magma Red, Whiteout Blue, Squall Green and Storm Force Silver. But of course, those looking for the ultimate in personalisation can opt from the firm's Arcane Works bespoke paint option, so their car can come in a colour that matches a sample provided by the customer or to match any existing vehicle they may own.
In the cabin, the Ineos Grenadier Detour comes with a choice of either two new satin finishes which will appear on the transmission tunnel, doors and air vents. Tactile leathers and fabrics are also offered for key driver touch points. Customers can also opt between four fine-grain Bridge of Weir leathers for the quilted seat upholstery, and two cashmeres from Johnstons of Elgin for the headlining. All Detour models will come with a laser-etched aluminium door scuff plate and added Arcane Works exterior and interior badging created by the British jewellers, Vaughtons.
