It’s official: The new Aston Martin Vantage is here

We were invited to have a sneak peek at the Aston Martin Vantage back in April when the pre-production unit was shipped to our shores for a special private viewing event.

This time round, Aston Martin Singapore invited us for the official launch of the new Vantage here. With the actual production unit unveiled, the new Vantage is now officially available for sale here.

This is the most driver-focused and fastest Vantage till date

'Engineered for real drivers' is the tagline of the Aston Martin Vantage. With its authentic, unadulterated pure performance, the new Vantage is the most driver-focused and fastest Vantage to ever be produced by the brand.

With 656bhp and 800Nm of torque, the Vantage crushes the century sprint in just 3.4 seconds and goes on to reach a top speed of 325km/h

Compared to its predecessor, the Vantage has gotten a boost of more than 30% in power and 16% in torque. This puts the total output at an incredible 656bhp and 800Nm of torque from the 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine. Paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, sending all power to the rear wheels, the potent powertrain propels the sleek machine from 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and goes on to reach a top speed of 325km/h.

The use of targeted bracing, undertrays, larger anti-roll bars and Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers allows the Vantage to achieve maximum precision and control

Working in tandem with the stout powerplant is a specially engineered chassis to offer the handling capability to create a complete driver's car. With the use of targeted bracing, undertrays and larger anti-roll bars, torsional stiffness and lateral rigidity has been increased. Next-generation Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers has been employed to achieve maximal precision and control. 

The perfect 50:50 weight distribution achieved with a meticulously configured front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, along with a low centre of gravity just 49cm off the ground, lends the Vantage the reactions of a true race car.

The new Vantage is wide and imposing - absolutely fitting of its incredulous performance

On the outside, the Vantage is as imposing as ever: 30mm wider than before, the new Vantage also features a larger front grille, resulting in a wide and low front-end befitting of its incredible performance. Meanwhile frameless door mirrors, flush door handles and the iconic Aston Martin side strake further adds to the sophisticated design of the Vantage.

The updated DBX707 and the DB12 are also on display at the Aston Martin Showroom located at 45 Leng Kee Road

Along with the new Vantage, interested customers who visit the Aston Martin Showroom located at 45 Leng Kee Road will also be able to check out the updated DBX707 and the Aston Martin DB12.

The new Aston Martin Vantage is now officially available in Singapore, prices start from $1,098,000 before options and COE.
