The first six months of 2024 at Lamborghini have continued to stay rosy as the firm has revealed that it saw record results when it comes to deliveries, revenues and operating income during this period.
The firm attributes this success to the popularity of its Revuelto, Urus, and Huracan models. The period saw a total of 5,558 cars delivered, generating a revenue of $2.36 billion (€1.62 billion) - an increase of 14.1% over the same period of 2023 - while operating profit rose to a record $666 million (€458 million).
The firm delivered a total of 2,498 cars in the regions of Europe, Middle East, and Africa, made 1,849 deliveries in the period in the Americas, and delivered a total of 1,211 in Asia Pacific region. The U.S.A remained the largest market for Lamborghini, which saw a total of 1,621 cars delivered, followed by Germany (with 595 cars delivered), and the U.K. (514 cars delivered).
Lamborghini states that the order bank for the Revuelto remains fully booked, with the wait for the car currently standing at more than two years. Orders for the Huracan, meanwhile, currently cover the entire production run for the car until the production line's scheduled closure in December 2024. The Urus SE, meanwhile, has also been met with widespread positive response from customers, with orders covering around one-year's production.
Lamborghini is set to reveal the successor to the Huracan come 16 August 2024 at Monterey Car Week.
