Maserati delivers the first customer example of the MCXtrema

Maserati has delivered its first customer MCXtrema, its most powerful track-only super sports car to date, at Laguna Seca as part of its events planned for the Monterey Car Week.

The Maserati MCXtrema is said to embody the firm's performance DNA, and will see only 62 examples built, with all said to offer unparalleled racing dynamics. The very first example of which was delivered to its eagerly awaiting recipient with the assistance of Maserati Chief Test Driver Andrea Bertolini, who not only handed over the keys of the car to its new owner, but also demonstrated the car's abilities on its inaugural laps on the iconic Laguna Seca track. The ceremonial handover celebrated the car's remarkable journey from concept to reality as well as Bertolini's pivotal role in its development through rigorous simulation testing.

Maserati is offering owners of the MCXtrema a customer experience programme named MCXperience, which will see them being invited for a series of services to allow them to fully immerse themselves in the Maserati racing world, alongside professional drivers and the technicians at Maserati Corse Services.

MCXperience will also offer concierge services for access to on-track experiences and each car comes with a MCXtrema Racing kit. This kit, designed for drivers by Maserati Centro Stile together with Sparco, offers a host of technical clothing and equipment so all customers can feel like real racers in the MCXtrema.
